I am passionate about the growing movement of including intimacy coordinators and directors in the artistic process. As an experienced director I have always prioritised
collaboration and striven to create a sense of trust and safety with performers as well as technical crew and fellow creatives and experienced first hand how creating a safe space for everyone to work in liberates expression and creates more nuanced and vibrant work.

I have strong communication skills and bring sensitivity to the task of navigating complex team dynamics. I am experienced at working with both emerging artists and some of Australia’s most leading actors, and understand the differing needs of each. Studying Level 1 and 2 in Consent Based Work with leading intimacy direction/co ordination organisation for screen and theatre, IDC, USA, has not only given me the skills to work in this area but it has deepened my craft as a director.
